Cactus

(Ashley's POV)

I came back home, feeling alone again. I'll have to wait another month to see all of them again.

That includes Avi....

And now two days have passed.

I called Jenna and asked if she wanted to hang out. She said she's free and she'll meet me at starbucks.

"Hey, Ash." Jenna gave me a big smile and a hug once I walked in to the store.

"Hey." I said with less energetic voice.

"What's wrong? You sound fustreat." She said.

She meant frustrated. I am used to it now.

"Yeah...I am a little bit." I said.

We both sat down , and ordered some drinks.

"Did you not have fun during your visit?" Jenna asked.

"No, I had a lot of fun. We all went to a club at night, and Avi and I played this game called 'beer pong', it was a nice experience...." I mumbled.

"You can't get over him?" Jenna asked.

"Huh?"

"I mean, you can't get him out of your head, can you?"

"I...uh..no, I can't." I answered honestly.

I hate talking about feeling-related stuff with anyone, even with really close friends, like Scott or Mitch.

But with Jenna, I kinda already blurted out my situation with Avi when we first met, and she bought me drinks.

"You like him a lot?" Jenna asked.

"Yeah, I think so..."

I don't just think so, I know so. I keep thinking about him non-stop.

"I mean, I keep thinking of him." I added.

A waiter put down our drinks on the table.

"Here you go, ladies." He said.

"Thank you." We both said.

I took a sip, and looked at Jenna, waiting for her to talk.

But instead of talking, she starting to mumbled to herself.

"That disgusting feeling, when you think about a person day and night. But you just can't have it, at least not until the day comes, but you just can't wait no more. And you just feel filthy, and you need to get rid of the feeling by doing something to that person qiuck and-"

"Jenna..? Are you okay?" I stopped her.

She looked flustered, and angry. She didn't even mess up the words....

She snapped out of it.

"Huh? Oh, I mean, is that what you're feeling?" She asked with a smile.

"No, not exactly....." I answered.

"To be honest, I don't hate that feeling thinking about him." I said.

"Oh, okay..." She said.

Then there's a few seconds of silence.

A/N: I can honestly tell you that this is a filler chapter, but only because there's something big happening next!!!
