It was Teitan Elementary School's annual Field Day, an event eagerly anticipated by students and teachers alike. The school grounds were bustling with activity, with colorful banners fluttering in the breeze and stations set up for everything from relay races to tug-of-war. Erwin, Levi, Amuro, and Akai had all been roped into supervising the event, much to Levi's irritation.

"What's the point of this?" Levi muttered as he adjusted his whistle. "Just an excuse for kids to run around like idiots."

"It's a celebration of teamwork and community," Erwin replied, his tone calm. "Surely you can appreciate that."

Levi snorted. "You know me, Smith. I appreciate efficiency, not chaos."

Meanwhile, Amuro was effortlessly blending in with the parents and students, his charm on full display as he handed out drinks and snacks at one of the tents. Akai, ever the observer, leaned against a nearby tree, his sharp eyes scanning the scene for anything out of place.

The highlight of Field Day was always the relay race. This year, Conan and the Detective Boys were determined to win, but Eren and his friends were just as fired up. The two groups had developed a healthy rivalry since Eren and his friends transferred to the school, and Levi couldn't help but smirk as he watched them strategize.

Eren clenched his fists. "We're not losing this. Mikasa, you're the anchor. Armin, you're the second runner."

Mikasa nodded. "We'll win. Just don't trip."

Armin gulped nervously. "No pressure..."

Levi blew the whistle, signaling the start of the race. The crowd erupted in cheers as Ayumi and Eren dashed forward, their determination evident in every stride. Ayumi handed off the baton smoothly to Genta, while Eren passed it to Armin, who stumbled slightly before catching his balance.

"Pick it up, Armin!" Levi shouted, his voice cutting through the noise.

Conan, watching closely, analyzed the situation. "If we keep steady, we've got a chance!"

As the race neared its end, Mikasa and Conan sprinted toward the finish line, neck and neck. The crowd held their breath as the two crossed the finish line simultaneously, resulting in a tie.

The Obstacle Course Chaos

Next came the obstacle course, a mix of agility, balance, and teamwork. Levi stood at the starting line, barking instructions at the participants. "Don't waste time. Focus on the goal."

Eren, of course, took this as a personal challenge, charging through the course with relentless determination. Mikasa followed closely behind, her movements precise and calculated. Armin struggled at first but found his rhythm with encouragement from his friends.

On the other side, Conan used his sharp mind to navigate the obstacles, spotting shortcuts that others missed. Ayumi and Mitsuhiko worked together seamlessly, while Genta powered through the hurdles with sheer force.

Amuro, watching from the sidelines, chuckled. "These kids have more spirit than some adults I know."

Akai smirked. "And Levi's got them running like they're training for the military."

Levi, overhearing, shot them a glare. "Better that than slacking off."

The Final Tug-of-War

The last event of the day was the tug-of-war, pitting Eren's group against Conan's group in a showdown of strength and strategy. Erwin stepped in to oversee, his composed demeanor providing balance to Levi's intensity.

"Remember, teamwork is key," Erwin advised both teams. "It's not just about strength—it's about coordination."

Levi scoffed. "Or you could just pull harder than the other side. That works too."

The two groups gripped the rope tightly, determination etched into their faces. Eren shouted commands, his passion igniting his team, while Conan used quick calculations to adjust his group's positioning. The crowd roared as the two sides fought fiercely, the rope swaying back and forth.

In the end, Conan's team managed a narrow victory, earning cheers from the crowd. Eren gritted his teeth but managed a nod of respect toward Conan.

Reflection

As Field Day came to a close, Erwin and Levi stood together, watching the students laugh and celebrate. Amuro joined them, his usual charm on display, while Akai remained his quiet self.

"Chaos, but with purpose," Erwin remarked, his tone thoughtful. "You have to admit, Levi, it's moments like these that build character."

Levi snorted but didn't argue. "Maybe. They've got guts, I'll give them that."

Amuro chuckled. "You're a natural leader, Levi-sensei. Even if you don't realize it."

Akai smirked. "Or admit it."

Levi scowled. "Tch. Don't push your luck."
