"Hey! You there!" Iida yelled. Running to catch up with Izuku Midoriya. Who was slowly walking out of UA.

It was a little later, some students had stayed after to chat and exchange numbers. Iida had stayed to talk with Mr Aizawa after class as he offered. He came to regret it though.

"Huh- o-oh hi!" Izuku mumbled. Panicking. He was expecting Iida to lecture him. As he often did with complete and total strangers. But instead when the much taller boy smiled at him.

"How's the finger?" He asked.

Izuku paused and looked at his hand. He had broken it during the ball throw. "Oh it... It's fine now thanks to recovery girl... But I am super tired now..."

"I'm glad to hear you're recovering. Are you heading to the station? We should walk together!" Iida said, stopping when he was side by side with the other shorter boy.

"Oh... Yeah sure!" The boy smiled brightly. Then another voice interrupted them as well.

"Hey! Wait up guys!!" A girl said, waving her hand. "Can I tag along too!?" Uraraka asked with a smile.

"Infinity girl!" Midoriya said with a smile. Remembering her own score in the ball throw.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka! And let's see... You're Iida and... Deku right? Deku Midoriya?" She asked him. Who blushed and shrunk back. "That's what Bakugou called you. He was like 'Deku you bastard!' or something like that." The girl imatated Bakugou by raising her voice and making it rougher.

"My name is Izuku, Deku is what Kacchan calls me to pick on me..." Midoriya admitted sheepishly.

"Oh I'm sorry." Uraraka said in embarrassment.

"That's unsportsmanlike." Iida crosses his arms. He had always expected UA to be full of the best students in Japan. Students like him. That took heroics and academics very seriously. He thought he'd finally find his... People. People like him that he could relate too.

But now he saw how full the hero course was of... Well He didn't know what to call them. Scoundrels? Ruffians? Iida didn't have a word for it yet. But Bakugou actively disrespected others and school property. Using foul language any chance he got. Not to mention Nova who was the daughter of a horrible villain and he even saw her destroy items that were definitely school property! Even the teacher was...

He shook his head in frustration. Trying to ignore the conversation he had with Mr Aizawa.

"Yeah it is... He's always been like that though."

"Well I kinda like it. I think Deku is a cute name!"

Iida slowly pulled himself away from his thoughts as his classmates continued talking. At least not everyone at UA was horrible. He had been wrong about Midoriya, and felt a little bad for speaking to him the way he had during the exam. He was obviously a great student, though his quirk could use some work.

There was a flash of red hair as someone practically ran into Iida's side.

He stumbled and exclaimed in shock as the person who ran into him basically bounced off his side. Before continuing her quick pace. "Excuse me! Sorry!"

Nova Kurayami.

Iida frowned at her. She had obviously been running through the courtyard, which was against the rules. Not paying attention to where she was going and knocking right into his side. Or maybe it was purposeful. He didn't know. But it felt like it was.

She didn't turn back as she ran out of campus through the gate. Holding her backpack tightly.

"So... What do you guys think of her?" Uraraka whispered quietly. Their group had stopped walking after the collision. While Iida was getting his bearings again.

"I don't know..." Midoriya answered honestly.

Iida stared at her as Midoriya and Uraraka mumbled and their thoughts on her. He decided to keep his own quiet for now.... Especially after what happened with Mr Aizawa...

"Mr Aizawa sir!" Iida said. Walking into the office with the teacher's name printed on it. Taking Aizawa's reluctant offer to meet students after class seriously. When Iida entered he noticed his teacher first. Aizawa Looked up with a scowl.

Wrapped up in a blanket while still wearing his scarf. His computer cast light on his face, making Tenya realize how strangely dark the room was. The lights were dim and the curtains were drawn.

There were papers and books scattered over the desk, two coffee mugs. One full one empty, a coffee maker in the corner on a table over a mini fridge. Iida could also see the foot of a cot peeking out from behind his desk.

Did... Did he live here???

"Yes?" Mr Aizawa asked after a very long very drawn out sigh.

"I'm Tenya Iida. From your homeroom class."

"I am aware." Aizawa said boredly, looking back down at his papers.

Iida stood awkwardly. Usually a teacher would at least offer him a chair. But looking around... Tenya didn't even SEE another chair.

Once Iida realized that Aizawa wasn't going to inquire to what he wanted. He decided to go ahead with his request.

"I am here to... Request a class transfer." Iida said. Trying to seem calm and rational. Like his teacher. "To the other heroes course class."

Aizawa glanced back up with an eyebrow raise. "May I ask why?" His tone didn't display any sort of surprise. Just... Annoyance.

"I..." Iida hesitated. "I believe I'll do better in that class." He said. Standing straight as an arrow with his arms flatly at his sides.

"Am I too harsh for you?" Aizawa asked bluntly.

"No sir. It's not-"

"Then I'm assuming this is about Kurayami, Nova. Isn't it?" He looked back down with a sigh.

"I..." Iida cleared his throat and looked away. "It's more than that... Surely you must know..."

"Know what?" Aizawa sighed. Completely putting his papers to the side and leaning over his desk. Lacing his fingers together. "Enlighten me."

"My father is Taro Iida. A retired pro hero. The original Ingeuinum." Iida said. Frowning. "He lost his quirk in a battle against Kurayami. I'm... Not comfortable staying in this class."

"I'm sorry to hear that. When was this?" Aizawa asked him.

"Ten years ago. In Hosu." Iida informed him.

"Ten years huh..." Aizawa said with a small smile, scratching his chin as though in thought. "Well Nova Kurayami must've been around... Five at that time. Don't worry, she likely was not involved."

Iida almost scoffed at his teachers condescending tone. "Yes I realize that. But-"

"There is no real argument here." Aizawa interrupted. "If you don't want to be in my class then by all means leave."

Iida paused and Aizawa continued.

"If you really are so weak that you feel PERSONALLY victimized by someone merely existing in the same class as you. Then you have no place in my class." Aizawa shrugged. "Or the hero course. I won't approve a transfer to another UA class but I'll be sure to give you a... Honest letter of recommendation to another school of your choice."

"Are you saying-"

"I'm saying either you stay in my class. Or you leave UA as a whole." Aizawa clarified. "I thought I made it very clear this morning. Weakness will not be tolerated here. If you're already trying to transfer on your first day then maybe that's a sign that you don't have what it takes."

"Then I'll stay!" Iida said with a frown. Wanting to quickly backtrack before the man decided to just expell him anyways.

"Okay. I'm glad we had this pointless discussion. Close the door on your way out." Aizawa said simply. Picking his papers up again and taking out a pen.

There was silence.

Iida eventually, slowly turning around. Walking towards the door.

"Tenya Iida?" Aizawa said. Causing the boy to stop and glance at his teacher.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

A/n: no way when I dropped the sneak peeks yall actually thought NOVA was gonna be the one to request a transfer lmaoooo
