Very well I will tell you my story

Long long ago, from the east of the continent lay a nameless town. From the out side look in the village is look no different to the other villages you will see along your way

houses with roof make out of thatch, old and young farmers working on the field while their cattle are roaming and eating on the steppe

A normal villages yes? No, it's just a camouflage for the thing happens below the picture. This village isn't like any village but one that made Victorian Maiden

Obedience, elegant, well manner and loyal to one they serve. That the foundation of a Victorian Maiden

The only thing that make a Victorian Maiden different from other maid is we only serve 1 master.

''seal by blood at contract I vow

forever I serves, forever I bow''

That our vow, that our promise... That our function

yet not everyone fit to be a Victorian Maiden there are alot of requirements in both skills and beauty. Because of that many nobles, Royaltys even clerics would paid a fortune just to have one, that the worth of a Victorian Maiden

As a kid I was pick to became one since the moment when my Rose Day hit or know by you all as period. There practicing it's all we do... it's all we know...

long gone the days of free in the field playing and singing like the birds on the trees, long the day to dance like the butterfly on the sky. Now all does just to please my future master

Atlest that was i thought my faith would be until that day...

It was the same days as ever, with all the similar routine that we have to redo throughout the days: wake up, do chores, study and the worse of all practice...

There were 2 part in the practice routine. One is combat training/practice, here we learn how to as they said protect "ourselves". While the other... it too train our elegant, to make use obedience through each practice... and if we don't meet standards well... "Bad students should be punish" they said

But since to be a Victorian Maiden mean your body have to be untouched in every way or form meaning physical punishments were off the limits

Yet the doesn't said anything about mentality...

Few of way they punished us are including: lock us in a white room, dripping drop of water onto our forehead throughout the hours and many more... But the most mind breaking of all... is when they use Magic to strip away our ability to hear...

My apology, I gone off track

on that day, I was doing my chores as usual when suddenly I hear screaming coming from the outside. That moment my mind thought it just another raid from the thiefs roaming around like usual oh how wrong am I

Because the moment I step out of the cottage i saw hell... Because this is not a normal raid of thief because this is a raid from monsters

Man being kill left and right by the Orcs, woman and children taken away to be play thing by the Goblins while fire is engulfing everything in sight

Horror and terror is the only thing appearing on my face as I watch thing unfold right infront of my eyes

but then when I noticed the orc is sniffing something in the air, i snap back to reality

Rush back into the cottage and quickly close the door, I can feel my heart beating faster then a rabbit when it slamming it feet onto the ground rapidly

"what is happening!?" I scream in my head, not knowing what to do but suddenly a voice appear behind me, a voice that very familiar to me because that voice is the voice of the girls who just got selected to be train

"s-sis... What is going on..." her voice squeeze from fear and horror when the roar of multiple Orcs and the devilish giggle of the goblins appear  outside the house

I reply with a rush command "get the other to the basement quick!"

Hearing my words the girl quickly run back calling her peers then hide into the basement while I blocking the door by pushing the tall wood shelf then rush back down into the basement not before taking a knife with me for self-defense

After locking the door of the basement with a log of wood I step back, hands still holding on the dull knife while the kids are weeping behind me

"What should I do now?! What can I do!?" questions started to pop up into my head once again as anxiety hit me

But then a loud smashing sound of wood and stone appear snapping me out of thought once again and follow it is the sound of bare foot stepping on the wooden floor

Judging the sound of the creaking noise of each steps I can tell this is a Orc

Looking back as the children behind me, I signal kid to be quiet by putting a finger on my lips and seem like they understand since now only the sound of the creaking footsteps is appear

Then suddenly it stop, not for second but for more then a minute

That when I make the stupidest mistake off letting my guard and exhale a long breath

And I guess that what exposed out location because just moments after I let out that breath it slam right through the door snapping the log of wood with shear force

"dear god...." I whimper in fear as my eyes widen at the 6'2 feet orc step in while the children are crying and tearing behind me

But I can't let this thing this monster get a hold of the kids behind me, holding tight on the dull knight whisper "God... Please give me strength..." I know it's a meaningless thing to said but right now faith is the only I have left, with a scream I run straight at the orc infront of me hiding the fear behind it

Seeing me rushing at it, the orc lift it wooden club planning slam it on me but duo to how small the basement is it hit the ceiling and got stuck

Because of it the orc got distracted a bit, but it enough for me to act. Dash pass it, i quickly use the dull knife and stab it right between the joint of the leg, cutting the tendon in the process

Feel the shape pain in it leg, the orc roar out in pain as it fall down on one leg, taking advantage of it I quickly pick up a rope on the floor the  jump right up strangle it from behind  with all my might

The choking noise can be hear as the Orc grabbing for air and reach out behind it back so can have a hold on me but the more it trying to reach the more I strangle it harder which make my burn from the friction

as the grabbing slow and weaken down, the hope of surviving this spark infront of me. But just like a spark it disappear as soon as it as it appears

in an instant, the Orc put all of it energy into it other leg and jump back, slamming it back and me into the stone wall. The impact was too much for me to handle so i black out which lead to me letting go off the rope

But my got awaken up again after I fall face straight on to the stone floor "ugh! What the.?"

Recover from it, i lift my head up only to see the same orc towering over me with anger written all over it face

Quickly rush away, planning to lure it out of the basement but I was a but to slow cause as soon as I move the orc already have a grab on to arm

"Shit!-"

With the hold of my arm the orc waste no take effort in picking me up from the ground

Facing straight into the orc pig like face I scream out "Fuck... You!" then thrust my right hand into the orc eye socket and pull out it left eye ball which make it scream in pain

But that back fire quickly since orc have a high pain tolerance so just a few moment after I pull out it eye. The orc grab both off my arms into on hand while the other holding near my shoulder

At that moment I realized what it was doing and scream out "Wait Stop!!" but it was to late because in a that moment the Orc tear and rip my arms off which lead to me scream out a high pitch scream that irritate so much that It throw me back near the children who to scare to even speak

Groaning in pains as blood pouring out from both my elbows and when I look up i see the Orc was having a light snack with both of my arms. Hearing the sound of bones crunching in that thing most send shivers down my spine

And when the Orc done with the appetizer it glazes lay on to the me and children.

Although I littaly can't do anything anymore now my arms are rips off but knowing that I drag my bloody body infront of the kid, shielding them from the view of the beast infront of me

"don't worry... I will... Protect you all..." i speak up attempt to soothe their fear but deep down i know it would take a miracle to save us all

As the Orc raise it club up i close my eyes prepare yourself for death but just before that thing can swing it club, the sound of boots stepping on the stone floor can be hear behind the orc and at the entrance of the basement

Lucky enough the sound drag the orc attention which lead to it looking back and right in that moment a slice was make cutting the Orc head off

The motions was to swift and fast to the point the orc body take a few seconds to realize it have be headed and fall right onto the ground

Shock i look at the person who had save us and supprise at how small they are, standing at 5'2 feet, they wear on some kind of a cloak that have 2 layer the one out side is white and mostly at the hood while the under are black with with striped in the middle while don on a mask with weird pantheon on it

With a swing they spit the Orc blood on their  blade off then swiftly sheath the sword into the scabbard on their back

wanted to know about the person infront of my eyes"Who are you-"  but before i can't ask anything i collapse on to the ground duo to lost so much bloods

Seeing how my body fall, in a flash they rush in and gently hold my weaken body while the children behind is crying and thinking i will be death

"please.... take care off the kid..." that was the last thing I said before I close my eyes completely as my body go limbs
